For providing services and operating my website www.veronikakotkova.eu, I process some personal data.

 

The processing of personal data is governed mainly by the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”).

 

I. Processing of Personal Data

 

Processing of data when using the contact form or making inquiries via email

 

If you inquire about my services, I will work with the contact details that you provide. These include name, surname, email, phone number, your requests or questions, and possibly other data you leave in your inquiry.

 

For what reason?

I will contact you through them for further arrangements.

 

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – negotiation and performance of a contract.

 

How long will I process personal data?

If we do not cooperate further, I will process your data for no longer than 12 months from our last communication.

 

Processing of personal data in the case of contractual cooperation

 

If you decide to cooperate with me, I will work with the data you provide in the order or contract. These are mainly billing details: name, surname, address, email, phone number, data related to the ordered services, or data about you that you tell me to provide the service.

 

For what reason?

I need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to provide you with the agreed products and services.

 

I will also communicate with you via contact details.

 

I will further process personal data to fulfill my legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes).

 

On what legal basis do I process personal data?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – contract performance and Article 6(1)(c) – compliance with legal obligations.

 

How long will I process personal data?

For the duration of the service provision and then for 10 years from the last service provided.

 

Newsletters

 

If you sign up for my newsletter or are my clients and have not forbidden me, I may use your email address to send newsletters.

 

On what legal basis?

In the case of signing up for the newsletter, it is processed based on your consent, thus under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time.

 

If you are a customer, this is allowed by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, if you have not forbidden me.

 

If you have ordered a customized newsletter service from me, I process your email address to fulfill my contractual obligations, thus under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – contract performance.

 

How long will I process personal data?

2 years after giving consent or from the last service provided. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via email or contact me at the email address mentioned above.

If I send you a newsletter as part of an ordered service (customized newsletter), I will send it for the duration we agree upon.

 

Phone Contact

 

If you are my clients and have not forbidden me, I may contact you by phone to verify satisfaction with my services or to offer additional services.

 

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the so-called legitimate interest.

 

How long will I process personal data?

For the duration of our cooperation and then for no more than 2 years from the last service provided. You can object to such processing of personal data at any time.

 

Photography at offline events

 

At my offline events, photographs or recordings may be taken.

 

For what reason?

I want to capture the event for my internal purposes (archiving), and also for promotion on my pages and social networks Facebook and LinkedIn, and possibly Instagram.

 

On what legal basis?

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the so-called legitimate interest.

 

How long will I process personal data?

For 5 years from the taking of the record or photograph.

 

You can object to such processing. If you do not wish to be captured in photographs or video material, contact me or the organizer/photographer at the event.

 

II. Who will have access to the data?

 

Your data will remain with me.

However, some companies or self-employed individuals who help me run my business will have access to the data. These include:

- email service provider

- Wix platform, where I have my websites

- systems for client record-keeping and invoicing

- external legal, accounting, and other advisory services

- freelance marketing and IT service subcontractors

- individuals and companies that help us ensure the offline event at the venue

 

I process personal data within the European Union.

 

III. Your rights regarding the processing of personal data

 

If you have questions about personal data, contact me at the email address or phone number mentioned above.

I do not have a designated data protection officer.

There is no automated decision-making or profiling with personal data at my end.

 

The GDPR regulation gives you, among other things, the right to ask me for information about the personal data I process, to request access to these data and to have them updated or corrected, possibly to request a limitation on processing, you can request a copy of processed personal data, demand deletion of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases, you have the right to their portability. Given consents are revocable at any time, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

 

If you believe that I am not handling data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or to turn to the court with your claims.
